Well Vince I hate to say it, but I don't think you'll be happy with it. I'm 6'1" about 230 and most of the time I feel like one of those shriners riding around on the micro-minibikes. Don't get me wrong, the Savage is a great bike, love the look, the sound, and that engine..... But unfortunately this bike was not designed for "larger" people. I've even gone looking for custom v-twin frames to slap that sweet engine into, but lacking the $7-8000.....
Bottom line, I'll probably part with her next season and pick up a v-twin (uugh...). Should you buy it? If the price is right, go for it. It's a scoot pretty much unlike any other, and a joy to ride. Seems to be a fairly desirable ride (I've already had three offers to take her off my hands), so you probably won't get burnt on resale.
I guess to me it's like a torrid love affair, you go into it knowing it can't last, it's damn fun while it does, and then you walk away friends.
